How to Maximize Flow in
Knowledge Creation Value Streams
This web learning experience is designed to deepen your understanding of the knowledge creating value streams across your organization, especially in strategy development, market and customer research, advanced technical research and product development.
You should take this class if you are:
- Charged with moving your organization towards learning-first or knowledge-based product development.
- The process owner for a Knowledge Creation Value Stream such as strategy development, R & D, market and customer research or product development.
- Responsible for programs that emphasize knowledge creation, capture and reuse, such as scientific research, customer research, platform architecture design, shared component development or DfX processes.
- Exploring ways to eliminate the wastes of reinvention, overload, late found defects, invention-on-schedule or revisited decisions.
- Interested in building a company that has the ability to leverage knowledge into sustainable competitive advantage.
Sessions
Sessions meet via web conference as follows:
Alternate Thursdays at 8 am PDT / 11 am EDT / 1700 CEST for one hour

Format
Katherine will conduct each live session personally.
Participants will have access to Katherine via email during the course and for 90 days following the class to discuss how to implement course material.
Participants may ask questions and participate in class discussions by phone or through the web interface.
Each session will be recorded. The recorded presentation with slides will be distributed to the participants. Each participant will have the ability to download the recording approximately 24 hours after the session.
Live sessions begin and end promptly on the hour.
There will be homework assignments between each session, and Katherine is available by email to answer questions about the homework.
Join the series at any time. You will be sent the recordings you missed, and Katherine will work out a plan to catch you up on your homework.
Registration Options
- Individual Registration: $895 per person.
- Team Registration:
- $100 off per person per class for three or more.
- $150 off per person per class for five or more.
- Site Licenses give you the ability to make recordings and materials available to everyone on your team, including people who join your group after these sessions are over. Site licenses include one private introductory web conference with Katherine prior to the start of the class.
We price Site Licenses based on the number of engineers - managers, supervisors and technicians are included at no additional cost.
- Less than 15 engineers: Your team registration includes a site license.
- 15 - 30 engineers: $595 per engineer per class.
- 31 - 50 engineers: $495 per engineer per class.
- 51 - 100 engineers: $395 per engineer per class
- More than 100 engineers: call for pricing.
